This is the final match of tournament in Quatar. First double Zimonjic/Youzhny won over Ramirez Hidalgo/Volandri , Kohlschreiber/Soderling and in semi-final against Murray/Murray. This is not the firs tournament for this double as they have played some matches together last year too. So, players are accustomed to each other. Zimonjic is not very famous in singles competition , but in the doubles he is one of the best in the world , and I think this will be the advantage for Serbian/Russian pair.
Damm/Paes are good known names in doubles competition . They play together for long time and this should be their advantage today. This is maybe the reason why they are favorites for this match. They didn’t have strong opponents in El Aynaoui/Khalfan and Rochus/ Vliegen in firs two matches , but in semi-final they were better than Knowles/Nestor double in three sets.
For me , both doubles have equal chances to win this encounter. Maybe I’m a bit subjective because I’m from Serbia , but I think it’s worth to put medium stakes on Zimonjic and Youzhny as in my opinion , they play good tennis together and have 50% chances for win. So, Zimonjic/Youzhny to win.
