After day 1 result in Davis Cup match between Serbia and Australia is tied. Djokovic won his match against Luczak while Tipsarevic failed against former No1 Hewitt, although he had lead 2:1 in sets. It was my real pleasure to watch live tennis in Belgrade Arena yesterday. Today is very important match for both teams as win means there are just one more match for triumph.
Serbia will offer best , Nenad Zimonjic currently 5th player on doubles ATP list and Novak Djokovic , 3rd on ATP standings. It could be a great mix of youth and experience. Zimonjic/Djokovic already played in few previous tournaments, so they already have routine to play together. Also, clay surface (which is not in perfect condition) is big advantage for Serbian double and it was visible on day 1 too. The last fact are 20.000 Serbian fans and "soccer-like" atmosphere in Arena. All these should be enough for maybe decisive 2:1 for Serbia.
Aussies will try to surprise home double with 8th double player Hanley and currently 21st ATP player Hewitt. Personal quality is evidently on Serbian side.
Almost all factors are with Serbia , so my pick is Zimonjic/Djokovic to win with nice odds on bwin , 1.70. I expect odds will drop for sure , so if you like this bet act fast . WON
