After Sociedad sacked Baquero great improvement is visible in team . New coach Lotina have excellent results compared to Sociedad performances before he came to team. In last 7 matches Sociedad lost only once ( against Barcelona 1:0) , and finally they’ve made first win this season against Nastic 3:2. During winter transfer period they bought few quality players ( Lopez, Herrera and Savio) but they will not play today. Felicio will miss out this match too. Good news is come back of Gari Uranga , Sociedad best striker , also youngster Agirretxe is fit again.
Osasuna was in excellent run before winter break. They had 7 wins in a row , and definitely they were the most pleasant surprise in last month in Spain. But ,it’s questionable how this pause will affect team as they lost games continuity. Osasuna is compact team , but nobody cannot count on easy match in San Sebastian , especially because Sociedad need every point possible . For Osasuna influential midfielder Delporte is injured and also few less important players miss out for the UEFA Cup participants.
I will support Sociedad today as they are always very strong team at home and priory they must count on points at home. Matches between those two teams are always very close , but I believe Sociedad have enough strength to make second win this season. My pick is Real Sociedad AH 0.
