Bastia interrupted 3 matches winless row last week in away match against Ajaccio , 0:1. But team is still without win at home in last three matches . Last win on Isle was almost two months ago against Niort 4:1. In Wednesday , Bastia coach Casoni prolonged his contract until June 2008, so it looks like team management is satisfied with his leadership. Now, he has less worries about his future , and he want to verify contract with winning sign tonight. Bastia is typical home team , and they are very hard to defeat at their Stadium Armand Cesari , although they lost one match this season. Two players are slight doubts for this match , Marester and Barthelemy but I suppose they will play tonight . 17 players are ready for match and they are :
Ejide , Leca , Marester , Meniri , Maire , Bridonneau , Jarjat ,Ghisolfi , Coulibaly , Mendy , Barthelemy , Gomez , Camadini , Ben Saada ,André ,Meslin ,Née.
Grenoble overrun Reims last weekend 5:1. But out of home they are not so strong team . Last three matches they lost against Strasbourg 1:0 , Istres 3:0 and Libourne 2:1. They are aware of their poor performances far from Grenoble and they want to improve tonight , but I think it will be very hard against strong team of Bastia . Both teams need all 3 points because both want to accompany with leading teams. Grenoble don’t have important missing tonight and convoked players are :
Cattier ,Wimbee, Alphant , Matheus , Neva , Robin , Pelé , Stinat , Dja djedje , Juan , Kamissoko , N’Ganga , Saar , Yanev , Akrour , Belghazouani , Chapuis , N’diaye.
Last season Bastia won at home 2:0 and lost away 5:1.
In my opinion Bastia is in better situation in front of this match . Grenoble is really poor away from home and I think Bastia will capitalize on that. Old – new coach Casoni must prove that prolongation of his contract is not bad move of team management . Bastia is closer to win on this match , so take Bastia , or take safer option Bastia with Asian handicap 0.
