NEC - PSV
Just four rounds before end of Eredivisie season situation on top is still not clear. PSV have just 3 points more than second Ajax. In last round PSV took only draw against Breda, and round before they’ve heavily lost at home against main opponent Ajax 1:5. In the meantime they had another defeat , this time in Champions League against Liverpool 0:3. So, it looks like PSV is not in real form. But , in my opinion, main reason for such poor performances was absence of , at first place their best striker Jefferson Farfan. He is fit again and he will play against NEC from the begging. And more, another injured striker Arouna Kone is back in squad , so two good reasons for optimism in PSV team. However, Michael Reiziger , defender Alex and Ibrahim Afellay are still injured and also there are some doubts over Jan Kromkamp and Edison Mendez.
Their opponents NEC is on 11th place with 37 points or 5 points bellow UEFA Cup zone. They also play very poor lately and in last two matches they’ve lost to Willem II and Excelsior. Of course, NEC still have a chances to take a ticket for the Europe, but against PSV they shouldn’t count on points. They will be also reinforced with Beerens and Baretto , but striker Niedzielan , Vanaudenaerde, Pothuizen and Snoyl are out injured.
In previous seasons PSV didn’t have any problems with NEC, so I don’t see a reason why they should have problems in this crucial moment for the title race. PSV is just too strong for NAC and I’m highly confident they will win this match. My pick is PSV AH -0.75 (1.98 @ bet365).
