Friday Night Basketball!

December 14th 2007 18:31
Tonight's first match up pits teams in the thick of the pack in the Eastern Conference. The Indiana Pacers and the Toronto Raptors who have won three in a row of late. Toronto has stabilized the ship at home now at 8-5 and 5-5 on the road as when the season began the road was where the wins were coming.

Indiana always gives the Raps a good tussle every time out. PG Jamaal Tinsley has always carved up the D, when it comes to the raptors. But he did just that in his last game and they lost 110-101 @ the ACC.
Troy Murphy may be suspended for this one after a punch thrown at Bulls Tyrus Thomas after a face shove.
Toronto has shown the ability to play through injuries, so as long as they put Juan Dixon as backup point, rather than Darrick Martin, they should be fine in this one.

BET Toronto Raptors to easily cover Plus 3 pts

More picks to come before tonights game, so as you wait why don't you check out my new post about Wu-tang Clans new reunited CD entitled 8 Diagrams.

NBA
Utah@Portland( 6)
The Blazers have proven that they have the depth to get through injuries. Miles, Oden, Aldrigde and maybe Webster are out for this one. I am still confident in Portland as they beat the Jazz in Utah already this year and that was without LaMarcus. They have won 5 in a row and Utah has lost five in a bad streak and they are w/o Memo.

BET Portland Trail-Blazers Plus the 6 pts.

si2487 Utah needs to pick up a win here..

thegen24 even though utah is the better team on paper, right now portland is playing very good basketball and they are on a 5 game win streak. not to mention they are at home. if anything portland should come up with a win tonight.

profesrc Portland won as a big dog a few days ago and they've been playing very well lately winning their last 5. In contrast, Utah has lost their last 5 and probably won't have Okur. Utah breaks the streak, but they don't win by more than 6.

Raptors WIN!
104-93
Toronto comes back, down deep by 17 and ends up being a 31pt swing for the Raps. Nice Pick!

Toronto and Portland were both down by double-digits I believe and they both came back to win convincingly. Pretty good to pick two upsets, getting points tonight.
It shows it's not how you start, it's how you finish.

Look for a good number of picks for Saturday and Sundays games in all leagues from Italian Serie A-EPL and the NBA&NHL, not mentioning NFL Sat and Sun. Good Luck and Trust.
