Double-Dip in the NBA

December 12th 2007 02:12
I will profile to games in the NBA tonight for my last posting at this blog, for my new site please click this link as picks will be featured there, starting tomorrow.

Blazers@Utah (-13.5)
After a bad three game set on the road, the Jazz know that they not invincible, but at first seeing this monster spread, I shook my head then realized Aldridge is out for a week, so that is why I can be happy with taking the Jazz in this one.
Utah is a solid team that has had defensive issues all year, but they are dynamite at home. Portland is winning even with their losing record, but losing their main guy in second year forward LaMarcus Aldridge will be to much in this one. I am not loving this huge spread, but will give the Jazz one more shot.

Bet Utah Jazz -13.5

bw285001->13.5 is a lot to cover, portland is coming up.

nosroht->Utah is a better overall team than portland. They have also had 3 straight losses, due to rebound in a big way

Before my second game I would like to give some well wishes to Toronto Raptors PG TJ Ford who in a late game situation against the Atlanta Hawks was fouled by Al Horford and fell badly hitting his head on the floor. He laid motionless, for a few minutes while they brought out the stretcher. TJ has had a couple scary falls in his career, back in a Bucks uni he fell directly on his tail bone area and thoroughly messed up his spine. This year he fell not so awkwardly on his arm and suffered a stinger, that may be affecting him to this day. Horford ejected for hard foul unwarranted or not.

( 1.5)SA@GSW
The Warriors are a different team from when they started. Now showing a winning record, they will be tough without Tim Duncan.
But as the Spurs play on, they have won all games w/o Timmy D, so I feel confident that they can pull it out.

Bet Spurs 1.5 to cover.

Comments

DOgoubleG->SA is way to dominant for GS. They execute 50 times better. GS will rely on the 3 ball and will lose to the fundementally sound Spurs.

nightcrawler->we still believe that Golden State can win..........if they stay heatlhy they gonna be the champ......

cougar->San antonio is 17-3 and has won 8-11 versus the Warriors I believe that the Spurs will win and this along with Detroit are my top plays of the night
