Cork City - Galway
Cork have started this season losing to Waterford away 0:1 and in Setanta Cup at home against St.Pats 1:3. It’s quite unexpected for me , especially league match against Watford. Cork is probably the best team in Ireland for years, the have many titles and I expect they will bounce back quickly. Cork will be without injured defender Brian O’Callaghan, while winger Liam Kearney is doubtful and about him will be decided after late fitness test. Gareth Farrelly and Colin Healy, new signings for Cork have chance to play , but club still aviating FIFA permission. Good news for home side is , John O’Flynn feels better and better and after about 20 minutes of play in previous matches he could start this time from the begging.
Galway comes from Irish second league. In first match this season they’ve lost at home against Sligo. They will be motivated against Cork, but it certainly not enough for staying undefeated. They are small team and they still need more time to accustom to Premier League football. Gary Rogers is still ineligible to play for new team, so we can expect Gough one again in attack. Former Cork’s player Stephen O'Flynn is not fully fit yet , but he will play at least one part of the game.
I think Cork is absolute favorite against Galway. After two defeats Cork players will be strongly motivated to make first win in new season. They have another chance in front of home crowd and I believe they will not miss it this time. Cork to win , or for better odds Cork AH -1 (1.94@ 10 bet)
