Chelsea - Manchester Utd.
is one pre- season match which don’t have big result value in England , but with Chelsea and Manchester on different sides it means that will be small war today on Wembley. Also, it will be a match between two great strategists Mourinho and Ferguson and neither of them don’t want to lose this game.
Chelsea played 4 times in the CS winning and losing twice. Last season they’ve lost against Liverpool. Manchester played in 10 occasions in CS, winning half of the matches , but only 2 without extra time.
In last friendly match Chelsea won over Brondby 2:0, but they are still not in real competitive form. However, Manchester is not in great form too as they’ve lost their last friendly match against Inter 2:3.
Chelsea will be without Wayne Bridge, Salomon Kalou and Michael Ballack who are not yet ready to play, while Manchester can’t count on Scholes, Neville, Solksjaer and Saha , also newcomers Nani, Anderson and Hargreaves will not be in the squad. So, it looks Manchester Utd. will problems in the middle and that could possible decide this game.
Chelsea: (from) Cech, Cudicini, Hilario, Ferreira, A Cole, Diarra, Sidwell, Essien, Lampard, Robben, Mikel, Malouda, J Cole, Drogba, Shevchenko, Ben Haim, Pizarro, Terry, Carvalho.
Manchester Utd: (from) Van der Sar, Kuszczak, Brown, Bardsley, Pique, Simpson, Ferdinand, Vidic, Evans, Silvestre, Evra, Ronaldo, Fletcher, O'Shea, Carrick, Eagles, Giggs, Rooney.
It will be very tight match, but I want to give an edge to Chelsea because they have more complete squad and good predisposition to dominate in the midfield today. I believe Chelsea will not lose this game , even I think they could win in regular time. My pick is Chelsea AH 0 ( 2.05 @ bet365).
