-May come down to last second shot.

BET Toronto Raptors to COVER Plus 3

NHL
(-190)DET@PHX
Detroit Red Wings

-Coyotes are my team, but smart money is on D-town tonight.
-Coyotes have been good but have lost two in a row vs DET
-Even w/o top scorers Zetts and Holms, they will be tough

BET Detroit Red Wings to WIN -190

NHL
( 100) ANA @ CGY
Anaheim Ducks
Y!

-Anaheim beat Calgary at home 4-1 already this year, w/o Scotty and Dougie.
-Giguere can win games for them again.
-I have the Ducks winning by two goals.

BET Anaheim Ducks to WIN Plus 100

Comment

misterron->The Ducks are now playing like the champs they are. Calgary is tough to beat, especially at home. They now have a coach that will never accept defeat. This is a fairly even match, but because the Ducks are now on their game, I favour them. And the odds are surprisingly good.

NCAA-BSK [2-0 picks for College Basketball]
Louisville vs Purdue
With key injuries and supensions the Cardinals of Louisville are going to need some big efforts from some unsung heroes. Coach Rick Pitino is confident in his teams defense, well enough to pull it out. They are tops with opponents 3pt & FG %, staying very low

Friday Night Basketball!

December 14th 2007 18:31
Tonight's first match up pits teams in the thick of the pack in the Eastern Conference. The Indiana Pacers and the Toronto Raptors who have won three in a row of late. Toronto has stabilized the ship at home now at 8-5 and 5-5 on the road as when the season began the road was where the wins were coming.

Indiana always gives the Raps a good tussle every time out. PG Jamaal Tinsley has always carved up the D, when it comes to the raptors. But he did just that in his last game and they lost 110-101 @ the ACC

Washington can hang with anyone nowadays as without Agent Zero, they have two solid guys I'd love to have on my team in Caron Butler and Antawn Jamison. These guys are just solid Nba pro's

CHI@IND (-1)
In this one you have a struggling home team versus a bad road team, so somethings gotta give. Jamaal Tinsley hasn't let distractions hurt his production posting 10 points, four rebounds and nine assists against Cleveland after being shot at in Indianapolis over the weekend, for more on this story visit NBA Loud for the latest

Two games versus KINGS?

December 11th 2007 02:41
In our first matchup we have the Milwaukee Bucks @ the Sacramento Kings. Bucks getting five and a half on the road seems to be right with their up and down games of late. But the Kings are without SG Kevin Martin due to injury and they lost to an injury riddled team in the Clippers in SAC.
The Bucks recently beat LAC in Clipperville, so that means a lot as of now. So bet the Bucks and take the 5.5, just don't bet the house as 22 Redd did go for 41pts and shot 5 of 23 in two games this week.

Bonus!

December 9th 2007 20:43
NBA pick of the night, decided to put in a late game pick starting after Sunday night football.
The Lakers take on the Warriors in the late game and look to buck a trend and actually win one. Golden State have been swept by the Lakers two years in a row.
Lakers are getting healthier with Bynum to start at center. Radmanovic to start also as they will need to keep with G-State and the three balls

'The Action'

December 9th 2007 14:29
I am a writer with an interest in sports betting, so the main reason to be a bettor is that I enjoy the action and also profit isn't bad either. But to the comment from Sports and Punters daily aka (Bill Waters), I still can't bring myself to bet against my team so here below is a pick for the first time that I have not bet on myself.

NHL
Bruins @ Leafs
-The Leafs have lost the two previous games against Boston Home and away. Toronto lost on Nov 20th with their past up an coming Goalie in 20yr old Tuukka Rask in net for BOS, who they traded away, but learned first hand that he is an NHL caliber goaltender

Take Duke & Indy

December 8th 2007 13:35
Wolverines @ Blue Devils, truly a mismatched game if there is on. the huge spread of -24 has me worried a little but I simply cannot bet against the seventh rank team out of Durham. They have beaten a ranked team by that this year. They are much deeper than last year with a good amount of returning players who finished 22-11 last season.

Also Michigan is defensively lagging to put it kindly starting two freshman and two sophomores with the absence of Jerret Smith a Junior-PG. Bet made 1:35pmET

Will the Red Rocket get minutes?

December 8th 2007 02:16
As a big Raptors fan, I am quite familiar with a 6'10" shooter in Matt Bonner. He was traded for the bloated contract with Eric Williams to the Spurs for Rasho Nesterovic. He was a fan favorite, but with the emergence of young big man IL MAGO in T.O., an outside shooter was not needed alongside Bosh. So long story short he was dubbed the Red Rocket on account of he hair color and long range shooting, he is just a hard working hustler.

I am of the mind that it is really bad if you are going to bet against your favorite team, even if you could win. As you can win the bet but your team loses or vice-versa. All bad news if you truly love your team. So I was not inclined to take the Celt's to beat my Raptors by -12. I was not seeing the raps losing by less than 12. So a good game tonight is the Jazz at Spurs

Young VS Old

December 7th 2007 03:56
With most NBA teams there are a good mix of youth and veterans present. But the Blazers have committed to their youth movement moving Zach Randolph at the draft and giving LaMarcus Aldridge the reigns as Greg Oden is out until next year, the top pick.

It is also great to see Anfernee "Penny" Hardaway back in an NBA uni. actually starting at SF, to give the Heat more depth and punch off the bench in Ricky Davis. Shaq is not ready to take over this year, w/ D-Wade coming into form
